Social Media QR Code Generator – Turn any profile link into a QR code: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Link

Quick answer: choose the platform, then paste your profile link – copy it from the app’s Share profile option so it is exactly right. The code opens your profile in the app if it is installed, otherwise in the browser. To show several platforms in one code, link to a link-in-bio page instead.

One code or many?

One code per platform is clearest – people know exactly where they’ll land, especially if you print the platform’s name or icon next to it. If you want to show five platforms on a small flyer, make one code that points to a link-in-bio page (Linktree, your own website’s “links” page) and list the networks there.

Make it obviously social

A bare black square gets ignored. Give the code a reason: “Follow us for weekly offers”, “Watch the recipe on YouTube”. Under “Style it” you can match platform colours or your brand, and drop your logo in the middle – the error correction is raised automatically so it still scans.

If you only need one network, a dedicated code is cleaner: the Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn generators each understand that platform’s link formats.

How to make a QR code for a social profile

  1. Choose the network. Pick it from the list: Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Telegram and 10 more.
  2. Type your username. Without the @ – the profile address is built automatically. Or paste a full link to a post or page.
  3. Style it. Open “Style it” for colours, a gradient, rounded dots and your logo.
  4. Scan and download. Check it opens your profile in the app, then download PNG, SVG, JPG or PDF.

Username in, correct link out

Every network formats profile links differently – tiktok.com/@name, t.me/name, snapchat.com/add/name, linkedin.com/in/name. This generator builds the right one when you type just the username, which removes the most common mistake: a missing @ or a wrong path that opens an error page. Check “What’s inside your code” to see the final link.

Need one code for several networks? Make a small “links” page on your website and use the URL QR code generator for it.

Checklist before printing

  • The username is exact – one wrong letter opens someone else’s profile.
  • The profile is public, or you are happy for people to send a follow request.
  • The caption names the network and the reason to follow: “Daily deals on Telegram”.
  • The test scan in the preview shows ✓ for your chosen colours.

One network per code, chosen for the audience

Different audiences live on different networks. Market stalls and shops usually get the most from Instagram or TikTok; B2B events from LinkedIn; communities from Telegram or Discord; local businesses from Facebook. Pick the one network your customers actually use and put its code where they wait – queues, tables, the parcel they open – rather than squeezing five codes onto one flyer.

Frequently asked questions

Does the QR code open the app or the website?

If the app is installed, phones usually open the profile in the app. If not, it opens in the browser.

Can I put all my social accounts in one QR code?

A QR code holds one link. Link to a page that lists all your profiles, such as a link-in-bio page.

Will it still work if I change my username?

No – the old link stops working when the username changes. Make a new code after renaming.

Do platforms have their own QR codes?

Instagram, TikTok and others offer built-in codes, but you cannot style them freely or download vector files. This tool gives you full control.

Can I use the platform logo in the middle?

You can upload any logo. Follow each platform’s brand rules if you use their icon on printed material.

Is there a limit on downloads?

No. Make and download as many codes as you need, free.

Do I need to type the full profile link?

No. Choose the network and type your username; the correct profile address is built for you. Paste a full link only for a specific post, video or page.

Which social networks are supported?

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, LinkedIn, Telegram, Snapchat, Pinterest, GitHub, Twitch, Reddit, Behance and Discord invites – plus any other network by pasting the link.

Can I make several social codes with the same style?

Yes. Your style settings stay as they are while you change the network and username, so you can download a matching set one after another.

Is there a scan limit?

No. The codes are static links with no account behind them, so they work for unlimited scans forever.
